Here we have for sale a truly superb Daimler XJC. Restored by ourselves for me personally, unfortunately part way through the restoration I came across an excellent Aston Martin requiring a little loving, it ticked all the same boxes for me as the Daimler Coupe but had the advantage of being a genuine 150mph car. This MGB is in excellent condition inside & out. It was treated to the full Zeibart rust protection programme when new which has paid dividends. The body and paintwork are still in very good order. This very well looked after Daimler has covered 125,000 miles from new. This is a very original GT with just 2 previous owners, the first owner having had the car from new until 2003 (some 32 years). When first acquired by Marksdanes the bodywork was in remarkably good original condition but the paintwork very faded and polished through to the primer in places. We have stripped the car down and resprayed it in its original colour of Blaze. Unlike a lot of other garages we don’t do to much masking up, all glass, locks, lamps, sun roof, badges, rubber seals, bumpers & lights etc were removed before painting with many parts being renewed on re-assembly. The interior is in excellent original condition and still retains its original rubber mats & sill covers, the carpets are generally in good condition although they have faded with the sunlight but thought it would be a shame to replace them.
